IS OVERLAKE A CITY?
WHAT MAKES OVERLAKE DIFFERENT THAN A TYPICAL SUBDIVISION? Overlake prides itself on being a walkable community. Its first community offers Jacks Market, the neighborhood store that is a short walk from anywhere in Overlake and you dont have to cross any major intersections to get there. Overlake is the type of community where you can send your kids down to the store to pick up some last minute items for dinner without worrying about their safety. There are many community parks that provide safe places for children to play. The homes in Overlake are built with front porches that provide a nice place to relax and added eyes on the street watching over the neighborhood. The parks are surrounded by homes which face them adding one more dimension of security. Overlake is a place where neighbors know each other and watch out for one another. The sense of security and community lets you know that you are home.
